Shot over a four-year period, Science Fiction is a documentary feature following Laurence, an ageing inventor living at the fringe of society who makes one last attempt to achieve his lifelong dream: to build a zero-emission aircraft, using gyroscopes as propellers. As the story progresses, we understand his traumatic family past holds the key to his obsession.

A screenwriter, director and editor, known for co-directing ‘Sit and Watch’ and ‘Unfortunate Night’.His films have been shown at various international film festivals such as Visions Du Réel, CPH:DOX, BAFICI, NYFF, Docs MX, La Habana, among many others.
Ferran Romeu
A screenwriter and director.His screenwriting and directing work includes the short film ‘Tales of la Rabassada’, awarded Best Film in the Premier Pas section at Visions du Réel (2016). He also wrote and directed ‘The Passion of Barcelona’, released in the Filmoteca of Catalunya.
